ok everywhere i look i see beauty. we stayed in a petite challet lost in the mountains for 5 days. it was lovely...lots of long walks in the day, and at night, visits to the top of the mountains to watch the sun go down and the cows come in from their long day of grazing. i have seen true alp-men and women, and walked through villages of no more than 50 people. every person wears a smile, and it's a wonderful life for them ( i guess the bugs don't bother them). the first pic is the view from our bathroom window. tres bon!
